  How do ants find sugar?   Ants are small animals that belong to the insecta group. Most ants live in the tropics.   Ants like to congregate or colonize. The members of an ant colony consist of worker ants, male ants and queen ants.   These ant colonies form an ant unit. ants have a power that can be considered great in the world. Despite their small bodies, ants can support loads weighing fifty times their own body weight. When compared to a fairly large animal like an elephant, it can only support a load weighing twice as much as its own body weight. However, ants are not as strong as rhinoceros beetles. Rhinoceros beetles can support 850 times their own body weight. Ants have a self-defense tool, ant acid, which is produced by the ants themselves.
